Ladies and gents, stop your photographer search here! Hilary was a dream come true to work with. If I had it to do over, I would choose her every time. The process of choosing any vendor is stressful, but for me the photographer was the most important, because those pics will last a lifetime. I started my search looking through photographers in my price range with high ratings (which Hilary has in spades!), and I browsed through their work to make sure their style suited mine. The first thing I noticed about Hilary's work was how versatile her style was - and her photos were equally amazing regardless of style! I had no idea what the going rate for photographers was when I started the process, but after my own exhaustive search and getting recommendations from friends, I learned that Hilary's pricing is very reasonable (definitely on the low end of the spectrum) for her quality of work. There may be cheaper photographers out there, but odds are they won't provide nearly the same personal investment in your day as Hilary will. From the start of our experience with Hilary, she was so much funand put my husband at ease during our engagement shoot. Neither of us felt very comfortable showing affection in front of a camera, but at the end of the shoot we were giggling and kissing like it was totally natural for us! She has an amazing eye for capturing impromptu masterpieces - even though she was familiar with the location of our engagement shoot, she was still finding gorgeous new scenery to photograph. During the wedding she was an absolute lifesaver. She kept me from having a stress-induced meltdown, and she was so experienced with the flow of weddings that she was able to answer tons of the "wedding coordinator" type questions we had. She was so much fun at the wedding that she truly felt like one of our guests - and we were so sad when she had to leave at the end of the night!! The photos from our wedding were absolutely stunning, and friends and family cannot stop talking about how fabulous she was. Go ahead and check the photographer off your to do list, because you've just found the best around!!!
