Desert Elopement Styled Shoot at Seven Magic Mountains, Las Vegas

Wanderlust is a special feeling for me, and I’m far happier in the middle of an open field or a thriving forest than in a bustling city. So when I was in Las Vegas for WPPI early this month, I seized the opportunity to head out into the desert with a handful of other photographers for a styled wedding session. As I’ve admitted in my previous blog post, a large part of the allure of this particular shoot for me was the fact that I had never actually seen a desert in person. Laugh all you want, but this was a big deal for me and I wanted to mark that sucker off of my bucket list!

I absolutely loved the desert – especially seeing the mountains in the distance when we first arrived to Seven Magic Mountains. Watching other photographers move and pose our models together was so fun for me as I rarely get to see how other folks do what I do. The sun was in just the right place the entire time we were there, and as the sun set, I definitely didn’t want to leave. A huge thanks to all the vendors listed below for making this shoot happen and I can’t wait to get back to the desert with my own visions in the future!
