Cozy Farm Engagement Session at Echo Hill Farm in Deerfield, NH
If you’re looking for a relaxed, fun and cozy engagement session, I highly recommend going somewhere special and getting away for a night or two – like maybe renting the guest suite at Echo Hill Farm in Deerfield, New Hampshire surrounded by fields and farm animals. Laura & I had been chatting over Instagram for MONTHS about an engagement session for her and Parris, and in the end we settled on a farm in an area she knew growing up – and they rented the most ADORABLE suite right at the farm for the weekend to just enjoy each other’s company without the rush of traveling anywhere for their session.
If you’re nervous about your engagement session, start yourself off with some wine…
and maybe some charcuterie as well.
We then roamed around the farm grounds, saying hello to the chickens and pigs as we passed by. There was a small rain shower in the early part of the session which lead to a beautiful rainbow off in the distance in one of the back fields. Gosh, was there a lot to explore on this property! Wild flowers were everywhere along with some lovely pathways that had been cut out through the fields and wooded areas.
My favorite area, however, was the small pond with the coziest bistro lights around it and a little bench to sit and enjoy the sights and sounds of the evening. Since Laura & Parris are getting married at The Preserve at Chocorua, of course we HAD to include some of their mugs in some snuggly photos!
Laura & Parris – I’m so so very glad we spent this time roaming the farm together and that you two were able to enjoy an area that holds some great memories from the past! While the events of late have caused changes in your plans, I know you are still just as excited and are going to have a GORGEOUS day to start your next chapter together as husband & wife!
