Hometown Engagement Session in Amherst, NH
You remember that burst of super warm, wonderful days we had right after a weird snowfall in April? Well, it just so happened that the spurt of yummy, sunshiney goodness was exactly when Scott & Sasha had decided to do their downtown Amherst engagement session! Sasha spend many of her childhood years in the Amherst town center and the church she & Scott will be getting married in was just behind us! Oh, and did I mention these two are both fantastically dedicated runners? Several folks who saw their sneak peek on Facebook mentioned to me that they had seen them running at different events and recognized them (so cool). So of course we had to put a little nod to their love of running in with their love of each other. 🙂
If you’re new to learning about photography, let me give you a hint: most photographers prefer shooting in what we call “golden hour”, which is the hour surrounding sunset. There’s just something absolutely warm, cozy and inviting about the light that just brings out the emotions and the atmosphere that these couples have together.
They even had running gear that complimented each other. Come on, how cute! 😛
Scott & Sasha, your wedding date is just around the corner now and I can’t wait to join you both back in this sweet town center for your ceremony before heading over to the Mile Away Restaurant! Thank you for sharing your story with me and you have proven that the couple who runs together stays together (I had to, I mean really…)! <3
